A practice in development
Deliver client work with better economics
Test where AI can reduce delivery effort while meeting your client’s requirements. I help consulting firms and fractional leaders examine a recurring piece of work, redesign its workflow, and compare the result against quality, human effort, and cost.
Understand what a workflow change means for your firm
A change to research, analysis, or drafting can affect the staffing and economics of an entire engagement. A pilot helps you examine those implications before changing how you scope, price, or deliver the service.
The comparison includes verification and rework as well as initial production. You need to know whether the output meets the client’s requirements and whether the full process is worth adopting.
C3
Get evidence before changing your delivery model
C3 brings together defined work packages, AI execution, supporting evidence, and human review. It is a method under development, with technical controls and templates to help keep work traceable and responsibilities clear.
- 01
Establish a baseline
Agree on the client decision, the quality requirements, and how comparable work is performed today.
- 02
Design and test a workflow
Define the sources, tools, responsibilities, and review process for one bounded piece of work.
- 03
Compare the results
Measure quality, elapsed time, delivery cost, and human effort, including verification and corrections.
- 04
Review the implications
Decide what to retain and what the results mean for the service, its staffing, and its commercial terms.
Choose the work you want to improve
I’m developing three formats. Their scope, timing, and terms would be agreed around the work; early pilots will test the method and its value.
Fractional leaders and independent consultants
Reduce effort in recurring client work
A pilot would focus on one recurring responsibility, such as an operating review, discovery readout, or executive brief. I would work with the practitioner to organize the source material, configure an AI-assisted workflow, and establish a review process they can repeat.
The comparison would include output quality, total human effort, and whether the findings support the intended client decision.
Consulting owners and practice leaders
Improve a repeatable service
For a service sold repeatedly, the work would examine the full engagement from proposal through acceptance. A pilot would test changes to the workflow and review process, alongside scenarios for staffing, duration, cost, and pricing.
The aim is to give the firm enough evidence to decide which changes to retain and how to reflect them in its offer.
Consulting teams
Build AI skills around your team’s work
A private practice lab would help a team use AI on a defined consulting task. Participants would work through source material, examine errors, and learn how to review and explain the resulting output.
The sessions would be organized around the team’s work, with a practical assessment of what participants can repeat independently.
Find out what a pilot could establish
If you run a consulting practice or work as a fractional leader, I’d like to hear about a recurring task you’re trying to improve. You can contact me about a possible pilot or take part in the research interviews.
