How it works

Tucked puts two controls in your menu bar: a thin divider line and a chevron. Hold Command and drag any menu bar icon to the left of the divider, then click the chevron. Everything left of the divider hides. Click the chevron again to bring it back.

Settings adds the rest: auto-rehide after a set number of seconds, reveal on hover, global hotkeys, and an always-hidden zone for icons you rarely need. Open Settings by right-clicking the chevron.

My menu bar shows no divider or chevron

This can happen if the chevron gets dragged to the left of the divider while the bar is collapsed. Open Tucked from Finder or Spotlight while it is already running. The Settings window appears; click "Show all icons" and everything returns, including the divider and chevron.

An icon I tucked is gone

It is hidden, not gone. Click the chevron, press your reveal hotkey, or hover over the menu bar with hover reveal enabled. macOS also lets you Command-drag any icon back out at any time.
